All fantastic. Odd juxtaposition of cute and fearsome.
Thanks and agree that their reputation as apex predators doesn't seem to jive with their tender side.

Power and vulnerability in each image. They make me stop in disbelief and a touch of sadness for where their world is likely headed.
Superb set, Eric.
Thanks for posting.

Thanks Kim and I agree wholeheartedly with your sentiment....hopefully it's not too late.

I think you have found your 'sweet spot' with these adorable and amazing bears Eric, I think they must hit home with your heart in a special way as your images convey that to me buddy.
These are easy on the eyes and heartwarming images
Karl
Thanks Karl and yes, they have touched me in a way I didn't think possible

It's good to see more images from you polar bear encounter. Great images from what must have been a great experience.
Dave
Thank you Dave, it was an odd trip in that this was the only sighting we had for the week but looking back these many months later it is hard to remember anything but these 4 hours.

Just wonderful images Eric! I love all babies and their mother's care is most heartwarming.

Thanks Lil...it was an amazing experience....it is funny that 7 months later I hardly remember all the days we waited without seeing anything and then this happened and made the whole trip worthwhile

Dang Eric, I'm afraid to show such superb images to my wife! The bears near Churchill have been on our bucket list, and when she sees images like these she asks "When are we going?".
Art
Haha...Art, it was something special for me...having never seen a bear of any kind in the wild before it was extra exciting and to witness and photograph the interaction between mother and cubs was priceless. If you can manage it....go, you won't be sorry.
