Hello,

This image was captured on a recent short trip to the hills near Bombay in India. Although most of the trip was a washout with heavy cloud and fog, the area comes to life during the monsoons here. The green is something that we make a point to cherish every year.

Beautiful image! If this were mine, I might be tempted to slightly brighten the lower left hand side of this image. However, I am not sure that that would improve this much. I really like your image here!

Wonderful image, love the view through the monsoon clouds. The darker shadows add to the moodiness of this one for me. I spent six months in Pune long ago (1994) and visited Bombay by train a couple times. I was always amazed how green it was crossing the Western Ghats, thanks for bringing back some great memories.

Thanks Keith. I did face the same dilemma and similar suggestions. Was tempted to darken but kept this version as I am really biased by greens in this region.

Thanks Heron. The train journeys I took as a kid back in the 90s do kick up in my mind as well. Hope you had a good time in India back then. Pune then was a small town at best [compared to Bombay] than what it has become now. Love it always nonetheless.

Thanks Venkat. This was taken at Mahabaleshwar - Satara road. The water body that you can see is the Koyna water reservoir.
