It getting hard to find any birds around the nest at this time, I'm sure it won't be long before they start their long journey south for the winter. This nest has given me a lot of pleasure this year, just hope it will continue to be an active nest next year.

What a superb set of images! Beautiful detail and textures, nice light, the backgrounds are excellent. I particularly like the third one. The eyes are perfect. I too hope the nest is occupied next year. I look forward to seeing more of your images like these.

Really nice set Louie! I like the variety and crisp details. I've been skunked out of one of my close-by nests since it was built up a couple years ago but I can appreciate how you've enjoyed this one. It looks as though the youngster was prepping for first flight?
