The second could use more or better noise reduction. The third is my pick from this fine set.

Good catch Morris...I didn't even notice that...I had edited that one weeks ago and saw I didn't post it and didn't even look at it closely....will go back and improve it ASAP. Thanks for the comments.

Repost and one showing how big the crop was....ie a lot

#1 Geoff is superb!
#2 got crunchy on noise?
#3 oh so close to nailing the eyes
#4 might 'bee' a little sharper at the bottom than the top
#5 not too bad for center placement of subject
#6 nice sharpness, not so sure about the comp on this one?
#7 Dinner dinner!

Thanks Karl...repost of #2 after you and Morris noticed the noise....
Selective masking/NR in LR only and an original to show the massive crop...just to stop people making judgements on the A9's high-ISO noise

As for the eyes in #3...here is the RAW...you can see the cross-hatching in the eyes...FM uploads robs all critical sharpening so I agree you can't see it on here.... https://drive.google.com/open?id=1tlud0jHgSa8NH2iE8JL0zQOBAPPiDfFp

Very nice set of photographs. I like them all, but I'm a sucker for detail, so #8 makes my "best of set" ribbon.

Very nice set of shots. I like the dragonfly, #8. Nice detail without any focus stacking. The hummer is a nice shot and it's interesting to see the crop and noise reduction you did.
