Hi All...

What do you call a group of finches? A "Charm".

That's a great description for these colorful little birds that can be found in almost any part of the world. Here are a few House Finches I photographed recently.

A delightful set Tom. #2 is my pic pick. Looks like a disheveled finch, compare to the rest.

You are correct that these birds are commonly found in many places, but we rarely get such a good look as these images present. Your photos demonstrate that exotic birds are not required to get some beautiful images. Excellent work.

I learned something new today and that is always a good thing. Great shots Tom....I always enjoy your series as the backgrounds and perches are so different from what I get where I live.
