This is spectacular, the pano shows how massive this place really is. The sun is so much better controlled with film too, I can actually see it's edges. Wonderful job on the processing and blending, I feel like I was there. Thank you for sharing.
Charlie
Thanks Charlie. The monuments are truly awe inspiring, glad I was able to convey some sense of the place.

Hi Heron, Stunning Image, Love seeing and Hearing about the "View Hotel / Cabins"
Agree with Charlie about the wonderful characteristics of Film and so great to see that look again !!!
Take Care,
Craig
Thank you Craig, the cabins are just far enough away from the visitor center crowds to provide a peaceful retreat in this amazing place. They also provide a slightly different perspective on this often shot vista.

Very nice Heron.
I've never been a film guy but seeing the DR that you captured here, it makes me twitch just thinking about trying to shoot this on film with only one shot to get it right.
Amazingly well done!
Dave
Thanks Dave! I've gravitated back to film for the more deliberate process and the output. ND grads are crucial to pulling off shots like these. I've come to learn the ins and outs of my Pentax 67's simple needle meter, but there was definitely a learning curve. I 'scan' my transparencies with a 7D ii and I'm starting to get some frames where the DR in the film is more than that sensor can handle gracefully. This one was almost there, but still manageable in post.
