Experimenting with black and white conversions from color film. It seems contradictory, but I'm finding that the dynamic range I can achieve with Kodak Ektar 100 produces a beautiful monochromatic scale to work with.
I thought this scene was rather interesting, with a strong sense of scale from the foreground elements. I am really enjoying working with medium format film – for those of you who have seen my other posts, I recently switched over to film from my Nikon D7000, which I shot with for almost the past 8 years.
Mamiya RB67 + 90mm ƒ3.8 + Ektar 100 scanned with Epson V550 and converted to BW in PS2018
