The last two for me Ken. Is the last a prison cell?

Thank you Morris. The window is from an old Catholic mission, so pretty sure it is not a prison cell. Don't know the uses the building was used for over time. Sorry, but I cannot fill you in on the history.

Interesting combination of the two shallow dof bird portraits and the sharply wrought building detail shot of the last image. I like the first two but more for the colors and ripples of the water than the actual subjects. I think a wider view with the entirety of the reflections revealed would be nice. The last is my favorite of the set. Without needing to display a particular subject, you made the entire wall the star of this photo. The centered and well framed window really draws me into the image.
Thank you for the detailed comments Brev. I stop at Portal Lake whenever I go by during the spring. The colour on the water, and in the water, is quite neat. This is in part due to emerging water lilies (red whey they first start growing). Canada geese make for easy shooting, and tend not to be interesting (like house sparrows). The last is my favourite of the set too. The light was perfect for shooting the wall.
