Though the terrain is very similar to the Badlands National Park in South Dakota in a lot of ways, the landscape almost looks alien with its strange rock formations. This is a four image composite (two image panorama exposed for the sky, two more exposed for the foreground)

Great capture of a litte-known spot. Worth a visit but have AWD & good boots if you go there after a rain - trust me. Don’t forget the Drifter’s Cookshack just south of there to complete a photo day trip.
