Yet another view of this mountain. This is nearly a 3.5 minute exposure using a 15-stop ND plus a 2-stop grad. I had envisioned this in monochrome all along although the color version is quite nice as well. I'll save that for another post later.

Hard to choose between them, Bob. Both of them are excellent, maybe a slight edge to the color one but again not an easy choice.

Both versions are super, the BW image has something that elevates it a touch more. Fantastic shot!

Nice image Bob. Both the colour and the B&W are quite good. I was expecting the sand to be darker, based on other images I've seen. Your conversion upped the contrast between sand and grass.

I think the sand color depends on the time of day. There was some sun coming from the left and at a low angle. I'm sure that's what gives the sand it more yellowish tones in this image but otherwise, up close, it is black!
