I've been working on small birds in flight which I find quite tricky. It's a challenge I take on every year after the swallows arrived and I have to practice till I can get good results. For the swallows I watch there flight path for a while and then start to take photos as they tend to fly the same route over and over. For this one I was able to find a spot where the swallow was coming at me for about a second after going under a bridge. This required fast reactions yet was predictable and I had a nice light angle as well. I was also able to shoot off the tripod as I did not have to swing around agressivly

I really like the pose on the RWBB, nice head/eye isolation, great!

Classic head turn on BS, that is another great IF shot

Agree, they are tough to catch in flight - nice job.
