The Khutzeymateen Grizzly Bear Sanctuary in British Columbia is without doubt a special place. Every year, grizzlies congregate in the river estuaries - in spring for the sedge grass and to feed on clams and in summer for the salmon runs. I spent 4 days in the sanctuary and came away with a few keepers. All images shot from an inflatable boat.

2. This was an old male....battle beaten and plenty of scars. No doubt he has passed on his genes a few times.

I love the 3rd one of the multi-tasking youngster but the entire set is very enjoyable, Henrik!
