I normally don't do animals, but I was in RMNP earlier this month and took a little of my kit with me. I am not sure how I feel about it. I processed the heck out of it apparently. I hit the before and after split view in LR and shocked myself.

What do you think?

D700 (omg people still have these!) with the still excellent 70-200/2.8 VR2

I like the lighting and composition. I feel the color of the elk is off. Overall I like it Oscar

Overall this is a nice shot, but I wouldn't mind of the elk was a bit farther to the right in the frame ~ Ron

I see. I'm going to try something later today...... The original image was very flat and very gray. I may have overdone it a bit.
