p.1 #1 · p.1 #1 · Plovers and Piper, But Not A Piping Plover -@-
A few from California this past winter.
Snowy
Snowy Hunkered Down - These little birds liked to hunker down in depressions in the sand (mostly human footprints) to keep out of the wind. This one looks like a total fake news shot.
Fox Hole Buddies - Like a carton of eggs, a bird in every depression. They were skittish, and a lot more would have been in this shot if many didn't disperse when they sighted the pasty-skinned (snowy) Canadian tourist.
Hey You! Get Off Of My Beach! A piper barks out at the world.
Bonus:
A bit lower down on the beach, lots of things get washed up, including this bundle of mixed algae and sea grass.

Shot #2 looks like PS gone bad , that looks like a levitation spacecraft
#3 with less foreground would kick it up a few notches, I like the layout of the threesome here.
Last one looks much healthier than fast food!

Good of you to take the time to comment Karl. I'll check out the cropping options on #3 and see how it looks. Cheers!
