It's been many years since I posted my work on here, or anywhere else online for that matter. Here's my first step in getting back into it! This was taken last October. These hoodoos are a few minutes outside Zion's east entrance. This is "more or less" a two shot blend. Foreground shot in the blue hour 30 minutes or so after sunset, Milky Way shot about 45 minutes later. I say "more or less" because that's a bit over simplified--there was some considerable hair-pulling involved in blending around that tree!
So I just paste the full URL for the image right? Here goes:

Gear stuff:
D800e
14-24 @ 14mm
f/5.6, ISO 400, 30 sec foreground
f/2.8, ISO "Hi 2.0" (25600),10 sec sky (I'm pretty pleased with some tricks I came up with to control the iso noise, even at large sizes)
C&C more than welcome, since I've looked at this image so long now, I can't see it totally objectively. Otherwise, enjoy!
Edit: Wow, the image looks way bigger on my screen than I anticipated or sharpened for...what size and/or dpi do you all usually use for the long edge?
