I walked through downtown San Francisco with a buddy this past weekend. I love the atmosphere every time I walked through these streets, but as a Bay Area resident, I cannot be more concerned with the management of the homeless population in California. As of 2017, California had about 134,000 homeless people, up nearly 14 percent from the prior year, according to a U.S. Housing and Urban Development Department report. They require significant guidance to live a meaningful life. Many of them also suffer from serious mental health problems. I guess the title of this entry should be "Funny People, Serious Issues."
