I had rented an A7RII for a trip and the menu suggestions here to use with TAP etc were invaluable.
Finally purchased the new cam and hope to obtain some suggestions again from the vast collective wisdom here.
The A7RIII is still in the box as swamped at work but tomorrow is the day to set it up.
Will initially be using my C/Y 35-70 on dumb adapter, and several lenses on a TAP. I prefer to have correct exif which is is clearly only possible with tap or native lenses and can use exp comp for tap. I am not sure I had focus peaking set right in the past and sometimes had too much going on in the EVF with Zebra flashing.. I plan to purchase a couple AF lenses--(had rented the 55/1.8 on the trip) and do intend to use flash on occasion (custom set up?) My default was EFCS to avoid shutter shock but not sure how that works with flash. I fear I also may already be smitten by the CV 40/1.2 and that is the "fault" of this forum.
I know many preferences are a bit idiosyncratic but the last suggestions were massive time savers and much appreciated. The menu system is a tad different and perhaps better. Thanks in advance for any comments.
