These were shot at Fort DeSoto State park near St Pete's beach. The Venice Rookery. And the Rookery at St Augustine's.
Fort DeSoto being my favorite spot because I always have the beach to myself at sunrise. The Venice Rookery is great this time of year but it's in a weird location. St Augustine's is a great spot, many different birds nesting up close, but you'll have to deal with many photographers and people walking about. More like a zoo experience even though the birds are 100% free.
