Amazing shots, especially the first three! It took courage to go to the sand dunes with the wind blowing, how did the gear fair?

Awesome series! The first looks painful! I did the sand dune thing in wind once and have no desire to do that again lol You captured the sweeping sand wonderfully here. I didn't realize the valley got so much rain from that storm a few weeks ago

Bottom line: D750 survived

I was totally unprepared. I did not have a mask or anything for me and for my camera.

I was naive to let my camera sit on sands for about 40 mins.

It acted weird, giving me "err" message and did not close shutter, but it came back to normal after I cleaned out sands. Not sure what fixed it though lol

Lesson learned: Pack a hoody and eye protection + something to cover a camera.

Oh...the other photos are from 2017. Only the first is from two weeks ago.

Yeah, I almost gave up and walked out half way then went back to take a few shots
