I purchased this as a refurb from Canon over the holidays and brought it on a few trips. It's a fantastic travel camera-- 24-120 zoom range and sensor about M4/3 size!
I'm starting to do more video of my travels and the RX100 is a better compliment to my FF kit in spite of its much smaller sensor. The camera is in good shape overall but there are some signs of wear hence the 8+ rating. In particular, some tiny rubs on the LCD that you don't see when it's on and some teeny mark on the lens that was there when I purchased from Canon. I took a few test photos, decided that it didn't affect IQ and that the lens was surprisingly sharp and moved on with life rather than returning it.
