This iris burst into bloom a couple of days ago. The only one to bloom so far.
I was quite fortune to be out when the ruby decided to pay it a visit. Sometimes one forgets how small these hummingbirds really are. For me this shot helps to show just how tiny they are.

Your hummingbirds picts are always an inspiration for me. I am obsess with hummingbirds as well

Beautiful flower with a lovely little hummer accent

Nice comp Birdie. Would love just a bit more light in the hummer to 'lift' it off the background.
Overall it really easy easy on the eyes and quite a beautiful image, nice work and interpretation
