Signs of spring on their way here as winter is slowly receding...exposing the ground that has been covered by a blanket of snow for the last 4 months. This photo was taken a few years ago during a cold spell when we had some hoar frost covering our area. I used a 300mm lens to compress the image to create more of an abstract from the trees.

This image was printed into 3 sections and spans the width of my son's living room.
