I'm usually a color guy, but this b/w is very well done and catches my eye.

That's a great scene Jim. Like Fred I'm normally a colour guy but I prefer the b&w of that scene.

Thanks everyone for the kind words. I just picked up a 9x21 metal print of the B&W image and it makes me very happy. I used to shoot a lot of B&W back in the film days. Don't miss those pesky chemicals I used in my darkroom.

I'm going to do more black and white. I just wish I'd taken the time to do a pano of the scene. I'll give it another try when the light is dramatic.
