This is a wonderful image. I have a weakness for trees, but the overall light and composition are very nice. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful. Did you happen to take one with the horizon above the tree - with the tree still the prominent foreground? Or is the background just not compelling enough? I ask because I'm a technical guy who is trying to train my brain to think more creatively :-)

balance between rocks and sky works better for me as compared to the b&w version.. ;')

I'm a sucker for textures and patina, such as in weathered trees and rust I like the drama in the sky and the balance of foreground to background Bob
My only thought is to me it is a wee bit yellow and that to me seems to be robbing the lichen of a bit more greens?
