My attempt at the Super Blue Blood Moon. I was out there at 3:45AM. Beach patrol kicked me out of the parking lot by the pier, so I moved down about 300 feet and parked on PCH. lol.

Yes, the 2nd is a two image composite. The pier is the base image at 160mm. I then took the moon at 200mm; however, I slightly cropped in on the moon a little more making it look more like a 250-300mm moon.

Sucks that the oil rig stands out so much, but it is part of HB life, so maybe not so bad.

Nice job both behind camera as well as your post work. A little obvious due to the size and perspectives but IMHO these looks great!

Love your sequence composite.

Nice set!! Over here in east coast we just got to see the blue moon for a bit as it was right around sunrise.
