I may have found a bug with the Godox v860ii S. I'm using it with an a7rii and the x1t-s as remote trigger. And it's been great the last few months.
But today the flash would simply not be triggered remotely. Checked channel, group, mode and everything. No success.
Then I remembered that I changed the 860 beep setting to "on" for an audio que when it's charged (that's what it is for i guess?). But with this set to on the x1t-s is unable to trigger the speedlight.
Really pulled my hair with this today. Thought it was a firmware update gone wrong with the x1t-s, but setting beep to off makes it trigger again.
Would anyone be willing to test and confirm this? Set function beep to on and see if you're able to trigger the flash or not.
Running firmware 1.6 on both the 860ii and the x1t-s. It fails regardless of the trigger is on camera or if using the test button on the x1t.
Hi. I'm jumping on this thread in the hopes someone can help. I bought two Godox V860II for Nikon. I bought them new awhile ago (so I don't believe I can return them) and am only just getting around to testing them. They won't fire. At all. I tried them on two different D750's, a D600, a D7200 and a D300. Nothing just don't fire. Yes they are fully charged. Anyone able to point me to some help? Thanks!
If you are not using a remote check they are not in slave mode and press the button with the flash symbol on the back of the flash or remote. Also see you have the channel synced with the camera. I don't know Nikon but maybe in your flash menu you need to change something.
