My favorites are the images with rain in the background, but what really stands out is the diversity. Not only of species and families, but also of "common" CR opportunities (toucans, eyelash vipers) but the really special ones (toucanet, becard).

P.S. That's a Long-tailed Silky Flycatcher (even though the tail is not so long--it's a juvenile male I think); "Silky Flycatcher is a small family that includes our Phainopepla.

thanks so much for the detailed post. Yes, I will edit the description of the fly catcher. Looking forward to seeing your images. Agree about the diversity and the colors of CR, completely blew me away.
