This time of year, in the PNW is a very unique time given that there are dead or dying salmon in the rivers which attract eagles in huge numbers. If you can find the right spot along the river and a halfway decent day, shooting can be superb. I was fortune enough to have picked a decent morning to venture up on the rivers and found more than I expected.

Just love everything about these. Love when the wings are all in the sun having perfect light — such stunning photography

Nice Louie, looking forward to getting back down there, have done a couple days but try to stay away on weekends, and had to prepare for club meeting this week. Hopefully the 850 will magically show up before I venture back.
