I went to Jamaica Bay NWR yesterday afternoon. Showers were in the forecast before a big temperature drop with gale force winds. When I arrived there were two cards in the lot and I assume thy belong to the rangers. I had the east pond blind to my self and was enjoying the solitude so I stayed well after sunset. It's never dark in New York City, particularly on a cloudy night like last night where the city light reflects back off the clouds. I was impressed that the D500 could focus even with the slow maximum aperture of the Sigma 150-600 Sport.
