Some woodpeckers from earlier this spring. Taken in deep woods and forgot to get my Better beamer.

Taken with Nikon D500 and Tamron 150-600 G2.

I especially like the pose of the Hairy, Amit. Since we've been plunged into Winter, I also appreciate that these were shot in warmer times...

Thanks for the nice comments, Kim. Since winter is now upon us, woodpeckers and Bald Eagles will be my primary targets for the next few months...I have a red-bellied, hairy and a downy that regularly visit my backyard for modeling sessions ...
