Nature's version of multi-colored lighting.

Too bad they're on such a short "timer", before they go off.

Very pretty, is this from your place? If so it's a gorgeous view point.

A wonderful photo Kent. Very meditative, and easy to lose oneself in it's subtle beauty. Print big and hang.

Very nice! Love the peaceful calm vibe you captured here.

I know you like subtle but it feels a little on the dark side and maybe a bit too subtle. There must have been more color to the naked eye, yes?
Although, I'm viewing this on a bad monitor right now so that probably has something to do with it. I tried an edit but I think I better wait until I can view this on a good monitor.

Wish I had a view like that in my backyard.

You might could pull some more from the scene, but I like the simple subtlety.

The branches might could use a dose of sharpening, but that could be from the small res for web posting.

Pretty scene that is nicely balanced.

I have no suggestions to improve this beautiful image. Love the reflection.

Thanks guys.

The sharpening is fine on my end ... down-rez for web, etc. may be in play a touch.

As to the dark, it is night falling upon us (vs. sunrise), so I did not want to bring up anything in the terrestrial scene, i.e. retaining the dark of the night "en route". Rather than "fight" the lack of illumination, I hoped to embrace and convey it's time of day / mood a bit.

Guess I'll toss it over the fence to landscape and see how it plays. Maybe a re-title of "Nightfall" or some such thing.

Thanks again.

Lovely shot Kent. Your very own pond. You get much wildlife coming around to the pond?

Thanks Pete,

Some geese, a couple ducks, an occasional hawk, a rare owl, a juvi GBH, an egret, a Kingfisher, a bat or two. Nothing steady, nor consistent. Just a smattering of something every now and then (i.e. NOT target rich).

The only thing I've managed to capture on film is the egret and geese. But, we keep binoculars by the window just for the enjoyment of occasional viewing.
