Thanks Werner! Yes, it’s most interesting to watch them fly in against the beautiful sunset skies ... drop their landing gear, and screech to a perfect landing - just like a small plane. Very graceful!

Thanks Joshua! I cropped it with lots of negative space partly because this group of Sandies was really far in the distance, and I wanted to capture the mood/ambience of the scene, and I think I’ve achieved that with the crop. Here’s what the original image looked like.
