Very, very nice Bob. How do you like using a non-Fuji lens with the X-Pro2 ?
Thank you Lazlo,
Perhaps you might recall I used an early Nippon Kogaku (Nikkor) 50m f/1.2 sometime back but eventually sold it - soft and CA. I bought this for my D7200, where it performs well, and doubled up by getting a later adapter to use it with the X-Pro1 & 2. Specifically, with MF, focus peaking on the X-Pro2, and the flexibility of the FotoDiox Nik G adapter (the f-stop can be directly set on the lens, leaving nothing to guess, while focusing wide open then close the adapter down to the selected f-stop) I am quite pleased,
That said, the bottom line is the quality of the glass - my attempt to use as near Leica/Zeiss glass while avoiding the expense. Voigtlander and Zeiss (but not all Zeiss) are manufactured by Contax (same facility) in Japan....momentarily quells my lust for a Leica, which I will never own.
Others are fond of Pentax, Nikkor, Rokinon (Minolta), plus Yashica glass to name a few for using with Fuji. And of course any Leica glass.
Short answer - I enjoy using it but it requires patience and care which I sometimes find in short supply
I did a quick look in the FM Fuji Forum but didn't see anything aggregated for adapted glass.
