This is wonderful Bob, but I might be biased to old farm buildings!

Much to admire and learn from here, especially composition and processing. Very engaging! (I was admiring your avalanche lilies on your website - my favorite mountain wildflower. Found a ton of them in June on the way to Paradise, Mt Rainier. So joyful!)

Hello Bob,

I found this composition to be fascinating. By including so much essentially empty space and the downward perspective you create an "aloof" composition, portraying the desolation and loneliness of the scene. However, part of the choice seems technical, the perceived need to retain the tree branches nearly in their entirety. A crop might bring even more emotion to the scene.

On the other hand, the left front corner of the building calls to me, leaving me wanting to see more. I would be very interested to see alternative perspectives and compositions if you have them.

I love how bright the grass is surrounding the shed. And the tree by it. BW works well. Kinda wish to see what was above it but that might take away from it....

Bob;

Really like this. Great job on the processing - and the composition. Gives the feel like the tree is "protecting" the shack. Very effective.
