There seems to be some consensus about the heavy hitters for CPLs. Breakthrough X4, Formatt Hitech, B+W Kaesemann, etc. These mostly seem to cost an arm and a leg. What are some decent options that people have found that cost only one arm or one leg?

Color shift is a given with any filter, so as long as it is correctable in the RAW file I'm okay with some shift. Weird flare/glare stuff is a bigger concern for me personally.

I'm looking for 82mm, always shot with a hood on, and not wider than 24mm. Suggestions?

Marumi Exus is well made, often well priced, and performs well. Test results here at Lenstip, along with results for many others:

I like Haida...as good as BW but less expensive..Not a fan of the Hoya pro1 line. It can be had for less. They are harder to clean....
