My future favourites:
What about a series of fast lenses but cheaply made, all modern plastic except the mount, therefore lighter and smaller, and AF too. A bit like Nikon E series lenses.
Imagine a non-GM 85/1.4 in the size of FE 85/1.8. I think it can be done. Whenever they do a fast lens, they go super build perfect otus thing, what about not doing that?

12-24G for landscapes
CV 35/Tamron 28-75 for people, both are just so handy, CV for it's epic rendering, Tamron for it's low size and weight f2.8 zoom.

First time post here. I've been reading posts on Fred Miranda for many years, recently became a member. Favorite lenses for most of my commercial work shooting products would be the Hartblei Zeiss 80mm TS Super Rotator with Metabones adaptor along with the new Voightlander 65mm and Zeiss Otus ZE 55mm. Portrait work would have to be the Sony 85mm GM and the Zeiss ZE 100mm Makro. Interior work would be the Canon 17mm TS-E and the Canon 24mm TS-E with Metabones.

This one is really hard, top 5 or top 10 would be much easier

Carl Zeiss Biogon T* 2/35 ZM (on Leica or Sony A7-series camera on Kolari v2 w/ 3000mm PCX front filter) is most likely my favourite lens. It's very close to perfect rendering style, according to my preferences. Only problem is that I don't like 35mm field of view so much...

Can I have multiple favourite lens?

1. Sony 24-70/2.8 GM - it just does so many things so well.

and the following ain't in order...
2. Contax 35-70/3.4 - great lens, not too heavy or large, and cheap ...
3. Canon 17/4 TS - it just does things that no others lens can (perhaps except Nikon 19mm TS)
4. Zony 55/1.8 - not too heavy, good quality and good for portrait, pet in tighter space
5. Zeiss ZF 100/2 Makro planar - sometimes I hate the CA, but otherwise the results, near or far, are so good
6. Sony 28/2 FE - small, lightweight, unloved by most....but it's cheap, very sharp, bokeh is not bad, I love underdogs ..

Voigtlander 65 and 40 are too new to me, and I don't have time to really use them yet (went travelling right after I got the 2 lens), they might become my fav too...

Loxia 50/2 for me with the Batis 18/2.8 a very close 2nd.

The one I haven't tried yet? ;-)

In terms of output on an A9 or A7R3, I must say I really like the Sony Zeiss 50/1.4 ZA, but I also detest how big/heavy it is.

Loxia 21, but I took out the CV 65 APO yesterday on my hike and that thing is a beast as well! In fact, it was surprisingly more versatile for my shooting both in tight-ish wooded areas and wide open areas. I'm truthfully in love with both of them.

Agree it’s my second most fun to shoot followed by the CV 40. Both of ythese lens are pretty special. I love walking the streets with 15 a lot

Right now I would say the FE 24-105. I keep thinking I'm going to leave it home and go with primes, but it's so versatile, in spite of its f4 and the IQ is really good, so for some reason I can't get it off my camera..
