Almost four years ago I was shooting dippers with my friend, since that, I haven't had a single opportunity to do it again. "Winters" here aren't always the same

Shot with 6D & 500/4L IS v.1 @ISO6400 - oh boy how deppressingly dark it was then...

Conditions were quite now-usual mid November in western Finland, no snow, no light and usually no birds.
