These are scenes from the Ohio Amish country. I got permission before shooting images which included people. The four men harvesting corn took their jackets off and took a break. The second image was of two people in their 80"s harvesting acres of corn by hand. They both went into the corn so I could take a picture of the team. If you look closely you can see the gentleman hiding in the corn.. The third image is an Amish family harvesting hay. If you notice the girl in the image is handling a team of six mules. The last image show the corn stocks being dried out for harvest. Thanks for looking, Don

These are terrific Don. They make wheat shocks in my area, but they do not make them from corn. It's interesting that the girl driving the mule team has no hat/bonnet on her head.

Thanks Douglas for your comments. I blew up the image and the girl does have a scarf I believe covering the back part of her hair. Looks like it might have slipped down or she pulled it down intentionally.
