Under the lights, from the cheap seats.

First time at the "Big Boy" track for me.

nice capture
a bit tight at the top but not sure what you needed to elunubate
wish you had a bit more wheel blur, especially up front....maybe add it in PS?

Thats one bad machine, I wonder how fast he was going here? No smoke on the tries and the front wheel are down so it is somewhat after launch.

No faults on the capture or processing, so teh gearhead questions come first

"elunubate" ... even Google doesn't know that one.

Yeah, the wheel freeze / spin is a bit different looking than we usually see, but Ben has pretty much nailed the timing because of it.

What's odd about it to me is that if both wheels are down, then they are traveling at the same speed. For a given speed the smaller wheel should be at more RPM than the larger wheel, yet the larger wheel is showing the spin. A bit of a head scratcher at just a glance.

As to adding spin in PS, I kinda like how the Hoosier sponsor and Hoosier tire play on each other. Adding spin might take that away a bit. Maybe just a kiss of spin/blur ... the "freeze" does look a tad outa place, even though it is genuine. As a "sport", I'm thinking that (to Bob's point), it remains untouched. As an "art", of course anything goes.
