Add a 1.4X TC III to the 100-400 II into that mounted equation, please.
I was just discussing this yesterday, to the point of may need to make my own. I'm using a ThinkTank Turnstyle 20 right now to fit 6D2 + 100-400/II (mounted) and a 16-35/4. It works (snug, but works) with those two, but if I put on the TC ... no can do.
Turnstyle 30 (not a product offering yet) would do the trick, I think.
Sorry for the delay, I've recently had surgery and had internet on my lap but couldn't get around until today. Yay for mobility. Yes, Rusty, it fits fine. Here is a shot with the 5DIV, 100 400 with the 1.4 III mounted, and the 16 35 f4 on to the side. Hope this helps. Honestly, I don't find this bag ugly, and with the added padding it has fit my needs perfectly for years. It is without doubt my first choice for grabbing when it's big enough. I can also fit in some cards, batteries, sunglasses and small wallet so just one bag and I'm done.
note: I also tried mounting the 16 35 and how the 100 400 with 1.4 would fit into the bag. If you use it reversed (one side unzips and is taller). With added padding on that end it does work fine to hold the larger lens inside the bag with the wide angle mounted on the camera in the bag also. Since I use the insert, I added a pad on the bottom of the area to the end and 2 pads to go around the body of the lens, providing them with protection. It all fits well and I will probably just leave it for future use. But normally I'm packing just my 40 mm pancake in a pocket of the bag on the side. I have many times stuck a 600 EXRT in the end. I just didn't bother padding it for just the light, I just kept it in it's case.
