With the sun setting earlier the 5pm closing of the Oceanside Marine Nature Study Area allows for better light. This set was done in that light with a touch of fill flash.

Looks like you had a productive afternoon. I'm with Louie in liking #7 as my top choice.

Your broad-winged hawk is actually a Northern Harrier (the owl like ring around the face is a notable feature for ID).

Yes it was a delightful outing. I took these right after being told by people that were leaving that is was very quiet in the park.

Great set Morris!
I noticed your Snowy's feet are not as bright and vivid as the ones I have seen. Is this a seasonal change thing they go through or is there variances from different regions here in the US?
