Bought a couple of tiny Hummer handheld feeders a few weeks ago and always wanted to feel those tiny feet My wife who is terrified of birds sucked it up and held the feeder and she was totally blown away by what happened lol. Great experience for us both! Bad light and high ISO but its a memory for a lifetime.......thanks for looking, Dave

That looks like fun and frankly, I am surprised that the hummer would do that. How long did your wife have to hold that feeder up before that hummer land on her hand? Great images and I like the second image better.

I know in Costa Rica I was able to just stick out my finger in front of a feeder creating a perch and they would land within a few seconds of doing that. Hummers always surprise me how tolerant they are of humans if you don't make much movement.

Joshua, the night before she got a cell phone snap of me holding the feeder so the next night I wanted a better shot so I did the shooting. Actually it took less then 5 minutes for 100 shots! I have two big feeders hung up and took them down and he came right in to the handheld setup
