Hey thanks all for comments, much appreciated.
The image was taken from a hide/blind and the osprey successfully flew off with its prime specimen.

Superb and unique image Tim. Usually they grab there pray with there talons during a dive. I'd love to hear the story of how this happened.

Hi Morris you can see one talon in the fish, this is the next one in the sequence:-

They dive so fast, you just fire away keeping your focus as best you can on the bird, you know how it is.
A guy next to me with 12FPS somehow missed this moment.

In terms of what you actually shot, the content, the timing, the "money shot", this is one of the two best photos I've seen in this forum.
