Wonderful set! I can imagine between the lack of birds and 'skudge' forming on the water, finding good subjects in good light in a favorable setting has its challenges (it has here in WNY). You overcame all of the above and got some great shots of the godwit in marvelous emerald-green reflections.
The poses with the water drops on the bill underscore a delicateness about them. I tend to prefer the shots with the head raised only because the light is better on face and eye but I know sometimes we get what we get. My only other input is that the water surface looks like it leans left in the 2nd image.
All in all these are a pleasure to view. Special kudos for the preening shots; they really show off the beautiful feather patterns.
