Shot this during a short trip to Udaipur recently. Pretty bland sunset until finally some colours broke out. Seen here is the Jagmandir palace, a palace converted to hotel on an island in Lake Pichola.

Bland? I think the image is rather nice Gautam. Personally, your foreground is really fine. It gives depth, scale and emotion to the background. I might try to sharpen the mountain top lines and especially in the very far bg. Bring the detail out more against the fog.
The color is wonderful.....just play around a bit...you never know what comes up.

I think that's a beautiful shot! Dan's comments are spot on. I think the foreground and sky colors frame the main subject very nicely.

@Dan: I usually like the foggy appearance in the mountains. But shall still try to sharpen and see what I get. Never tried, never knew. The colour definitely is a product of playing around a bit.
