The last day of July was a super day here in New York City so I headed to the Oceanside Marine Nature Study are on Long Island. These are some of the things I saw.

-1 Barn swallow chicks being fed by adult

Fantastic set Morris !!! Love the first one , great green heron inflight . You sure are rocking the D500.

Great set Morris, I'm partial to the first, closely followed by the night heron flight shot.

They are all very nice shots, but the swallows feeding is superb!

Nice set of images - amazed at the variety you got to photograph and I am sure there were additional birds you saw but did get to photograph

Thank you Jason and you are correct. I saw and photographed many other types of birds. Some have already been shown others not yet. Just some:
- great egret
- glossy ibis
- assorted sparrows
- black duck
- canada goose
- snow goose
- double crested cormorant
- starling
- cardinal
- catbird
- mockingbird
- common tern
- sanderling
- etc...

Impresive. Particularly because I was standing next to you trying to take the same shots. That green heron was really far out. Awesome capture.
