I was using Techart>fotodiox Contax to Canon. What you see there is uncropped...i could crop it but it looks good to me

A few shots with the Vario Sonnar 100-300, previously posted to the Sony thread.

KEH seems to have done a nice job with the CLA, and turnaround was about 2 1/2 weeks.

A few small specs of dust between sealed groups, but it looks and performs great.

Finally joined the club, I think I found a nice copy.
I have a Novaflex collar for the C/Y100-300 that I wont be using, if anyone is looking for one.

I thought that most of the FE extension tube sets were 10mm and 16mm for a total length of 26mm. I know my Kenko set has those lengths.

The CONTAX Extension Tube Set are 13, 20, 27mm
and for Sony E lenses it's is 10mm 16mm

No I haven't tested on my sony E lenses and I don't have any for sony yet , thinking about getting kenko tubes for the upcoming macro season

Out of curiosity, do you recall if your 100-400 sharpened up noticeably when closing down past f/8 in the 200-300mm range? I'm back and forth thinking about buying one. I have rented it twice and both times had copies that were weak in this range outside of the center.

Has anyone tried this lens on Fuji? Looking for a nice zoom of this focal range and not fancying the 100-400 (50% heavier and 50% more expensive used) For only landscape use, so purely whatever aperture is sharpest. Currently using C/Y 28mm 2.8 (could be sharper tbh), 50mm 1.7 and 85mm 2.8 (easily best lens I've ever used take for the flaring)

Any input appreciated

Yes, the 100-400 GM stopped down does improve at mid and extreme corners at the 200-300mm range.
