Excellent set of shots! It would be interesting to hear how you managed to get these shots. It is pretty rare to get a group of glossy ibis to pose like this.

The nestlings were all near or at the top of a conifer type of tree. They had been moving about for the better part of an hour with no parent in site. No sooner said, a parent shows up and I have the shots.

I've always been a sucker for the dark birds with hidden colors and you sure did this batch right!

Loverly coloring on the Ibis UT, the BG is a little too energetic for me but that is just my nit of preference. Gorgeous I say
