I try the NiK HDR effect on a lot of B&W conversion but most don't work, maybe 1 out of 25. When It does work, it adds a layer of mystery to the image that I find interesting. The first image is HDR and the second, a normal B&W conversion that is toned in Silver Effects Pro. I like them both but any comments would be welcomed.

Thanks, EGrav will post a color version. Often, I find that the B&W version has more punch.

I really like the first. I just adds a mood not replicated in any of the others.

I prefer version #2, non-HDR the most, better contrast and tonal range.

Thanks, Greg, never thought I would do any HDR but it seems to work in a few cases.
