Goldfinches weren't the bird I was after this morning but they sure are colorful and boy were they active.

And they are the official state bird of Washington state (and a couple others). Nice images, Louie! The composition, background, and color of the final image is outstanding!

Nice shots - the lighting and position of the birds in their environment make for a nice set of photos

Nice set Louie - I like them all but the 4th is my favorite for the way the grasses frame the bird and lead your eye from the tail to the head. Nicely done.
